In large saucepan of boiling salted water, cook pappardelle according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
Meanwhile, in large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add squash, garlic and sage, and cook, stirring often, for 3 minutes. Add wine; continue cooking until liquid has reduced by half, about 4 minutes. Add broth; cook until liquid has reduced by half, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Add cream to skillet; bring to boil. Add reserved pasta, tossing to coat. Divide pasta among plates. Top with bacon and Parmesan; season with pepper.
