3-Ingredient Homemade Pumpkin Spice Syrup
Nothing says fall like a classic pumpkin spice latte—or PSL, to a true fan.
At coffee chains like Starbucks, pumpkin-flavoured syrup is combined with your favourite java drink for a cozy autumn experience. But there's no need to spend $7 on a latte when you can make your drink at home with this three-ingredient recipe, courtesy of the Québecois-blogging duo known as 2 Filles Ordinaries.
Everything You Need To Make Pumpkin Spice Syrup At Home
Ingredients
- 1 cup of boiling water
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- Cinnamon (or pumpkin pie spice), to taste
Directions
1. In a small saucepan, boil your water.
2. Stir in the sugar until it's dissolved.
3. Add the spice of your choice.
Add about a tablespoon of the homemade syrup to your drip coffee or latte for true PSL flavour, or even try it with warm milk for a caffeine-free alternative.
