Dessert Pizza with Apples, Nuts & Caramel

Method

In bowl, combine brown sugar, flour and cinnamon. Add butter and mix, using fork or your hands, until mix­ture reaches consistency of coarse crumbs. Set aside.

Preheat oven to 425°F; grease pizza pan or line baking sheet with parchment paper. On lightly floured work surface, roll out pizza dough into 12- to 14-inch circle. Place crust on prepared pan. Spread caramel over crust. Top with apple slices and sprinkle with reserved brown sugar mixture. Bake until crust is golden brown, 20 to 25 minutes.

Meanwhile, in bowl, combine mint, basil, pistachios, walnuts and a drizzle of olive oil. Top pizza with herb and nut mixture before serving.
