Another newlywed (pictured with wife, Hannah Bagshawe), Eddie Redmayne donned a navy-blue-and-black tux by Brit label Alexander McQueen, who also dressed Bagshawe. The winner for Actor in a Leading Role for The Theory of Everything looked adorable—and we loved his effusive thank you to his wife during his winning speech.

Neil Patrick Harris (with husband, David Burtka)
Host Neil Patrick Harris walked the red carpet in a grey Brunello Cucinelli tuxedo and tie, which was a breath of fresh air in the sea of black. His husband wore a white dinner jacket and black trousers by Calvin Klein.

Miles Teller
Twenty-eight-year-old Miles Teller walked the red carpet because Whiplash, a film in which he plays a leading role, was nominated for best picture. Teller looked handsome in his impeccably fitted navy-and-black Prada tuxedo. We’re looking forward to seeing more from this talented actor—and just as interested in watching his sartorial sense develop.

Common
Forty-two-year-old hip-hop artist, Common (along with John Legend) won in the best original song category for the tune “Glory” from the movie Selma. Common was hands-down the best dressed man on the carpet, wearing a beautifully tailored Prada midnight velvet blazer, white-on-white shirt and bow-tie combo, all tastefully paired with Fred Leighton jewellery.

Adam Levine
Maroon Five frontman and performer at the 87th Academy Awards, Adam Levine walked the red carpet with new wife Behati Prinsloo. The pair both wore Armani Privé, and we're pretty sure they were the most attractive duo at the star-studded affair.
