Beyoncé just launched her haircare line, Cécred

Who runs the world? Definitely Beyoncé.

On top of recently releasing new songs and moving into the world of country music (Texas Hold ‘Em is permanently playing in our heads), the multi-talented and award-winning artist just launched her haircare brand, Cécred.


Cécred was born out of a desire to encourage self-expression while maintaining healthy, luscious locks. “As a Black founder, it was important to me to concentrate on where I saw the greatest need for healthy haircare and to place scientific innovation and product performance above all else,” says the artist in her press release.

Needless to say, we’re obsessed.


The journey to launch Cécred came from the singer’s own lived experiences; from watching her mother, Tina Knowles, work at her hair salon to donning every possible hairstyle throughout her entertainment career. “I loved witnessing the joy [clients] felt watching their hair grow healthier, shinier, and more vibrant,” says Knowles, who mixes tech-forward formulas with natural butters to create the best hair results.

 


After years of development, Beyoncé integrated this knowledge into Cécred and just launched the Foundation Collection. The collection features eight essential products that cleanse, condition and visibly repair hair with their combination of hair rituals from global cultures and patent-pending advanced keratin treatment. We can’t wait to give it a try!
