In the past, white trousers were synonymous with one thing: summer. Throughout the decades they were donned by fashion icons like Coco Chanel, Marilyn Monroe and Jackie O, and accessorized with round sunglasses, woven purses and–naturally–bare feet. For fall 2014, the white out continues. Labels such as Helmut Lang, Gareth Pugh, Barbara Bui and Acne Studios showcased layered ivory looks in creamy palettes on the runway.
