Have a closet full of clothes but nothing to wear? We know the feeling. It seems to become even more pronounced when date night looms, because we all want to make a good impression—whether it’s the second date or the thousandth.

What's a gal to do?

To ensure your outfit is in tip-top shape, let your activity be your guide—your attire for a fancy dinner out will be different than for a watch-Netflix-and-scarf-chocolate-while-the-kids-are-asleep night at home.

Try to incorporate items from your existing wardrobe, but treat yourself to a new blouse, sparkly necklace or brand new PJs for a touch of freshness. Your date will love it, and so will you.

If your paramour is taking you out for a nice meal, reciprocate by dolling up a bit. Bundle up! For any outdoor date night that happens between November and March, the temperatures in Canada are usually well below zero.
