3 ways to wear a jumpsuit
Over the past couple of seasons, the jumpsuit (whether strapless, sleeveless or sleeved) has become a style staple. It’s super easy to wear on its own, but it can also be worn over a top or under a blazer for even more versatility. Purchase one and wear it no matter the occasion: an afternoon of shopping, a day at the office or a night on the town.
Pleated origami jumpsuit, $85, asos.com.
For the weekend
Slip a fitted white tank or tee under your jumpsuit for a casual weekend look. Stick to flats and a small cross-body bag so a long walk (shopping counts) is a piece of cake.
Leather oxford shoes, $130, winners.ca. Cross-body bag, $250, mackage.com. Kam Dhillon sunglasses, $89, clearlycontacts.ca. T-shirt, $25, landsend.com.
For work
A sexy jumpsuit has no place at the office—unless you layer it underneath a pretty blouse or a belted blazer. We chose a floral top, then dressed it up with heels, a statement necklace and a handbag, all in colours pulled from the print.
Top, $50, winners.ca. Necklace, $18, hm.com/ca. Metal-edged faux-leather box bag, $36, forever21.com. Shoes, $120, aldoshoes.com.
For a night out
Simply add a pair of strappy sandals in the same colour as the jumpsuit, plus a clutch and jewellery. If you want to wear a statement necklace, pair it with small earrings and a ring or a bracelet. If you prefer a bare neck, try large earrings and a ring. We love black and gold for a special occasion.
Ring, $50, bananarepublic.ca. Kotur box clutch, $450, net-a-porter.com. Fringed earrings, $32, baublebar.com. Shoes, $130, ninewest.ca.
