Your new favourite affordable beauty brand has arrived in Canada
Glossier, the New York-based online beauty brand and your new go-to source for amazing and affordable cosmetics, is expanding to Canada.
Make room in your medicine cabinet/on your vanity/on any place you hoard beauty products—cool-girl brand Glossier is finally offering shipping to Canada as of Tuesday, July 18.
The cult-favourite cosmetic line, with its Instagram-famous millennial pink packaging, has been capturing our eye since founder Emily Weiss launched the brand back in 2014. And now, like our friends south of the border, we, too, will be able to have the brand’s most-coveted products—like Balm Dot Com, Boy Brow and Soothing Face Mist—delivered right to our door.
Haven’t heard of Glossier? Wondering what’s the big fuss? There are a few reasons for the brand’s serious popularity. For one, Glossier products really work. (The Haloscope makes you look like you’re wearing a beautifying SnapChat filter IRL.) Two, the brand encourages a real-girl approach to beauty in which the products work to enhance your features, not obscure or change them. (The Perfecting Skin Tint offers sheer coverage that helps imperfect skin look naturally perfect by subtly reducing redness and evening skin tone.) And three, everything is really affordable—products range from about $15–43 CAD. There's just one catch: Unfortunately, Glossier can't ship to Quebec yet. "For that, we're going to need a French website, with all of our marketing translated into French," says Weiss. But, the brand will launch in Quebec next year.
