VIDEO: How to get a sparkly smoky eye
We teamed up with Brittany Gray of Fancy Face and Stila Cosmetics to create a sultry—but totally doable—smoky eye. It's the perfect look for your next event, party or date.
Adding a bit of glimmer to your beauty look is the perfect way to add some pizzazz to your next date night, party or night out—though we wouldn't blame you if you want to rock this look anytime.
Here's how to get a glittery smoky eye
How to get a sparkly smoky eye
STEP 1: Use a bone-toned colour on the entire eye.
STEP 2: A warmer tone in the crease and pulled down under the eye is next.
STEP 3: You can deepen the crease with a darker tone for more drama.
STEP 4: This is where it gets fun—add some glitter! Keep the glitter to your lid (not the crease) and pat it in with your fingers.
STEP 5: This step is optional, but for added drama (or a special event) we recommend applying false eyelashes.
STEP 6: Next, a darker eyeliner—we love the purple-ish shade used here—can be used to line the lower waterline, and along the top lash line in a thin line.
STEP 7: Mascara completes your eye look. Pick a formula that offers volume and length.
