A simple swipe of lipstick can make your pearly whites appear even whiter. Here are the best shades to apple for a dazzingly white smile.

Red lipstick

Opt for cool red shades with blue undertones like carmine red or raspberry, which help cancel out yellowness. Avoid brick or orangey reds, which have warm undertones that exaggerate any yellow stains on the teeth.

Pink lipstick

Pale pinks give the illusion of gleaming white teeth with their cool undertones. If bold shades are more your style, a vibrant blue-based fuchsia also does the trick. Warm pinks like coral or peach can do the opposite, highlighting yellowish tones.
