Mushroom Brown is a chestnut shade that leans towards taupe. Without an ounce of gold, this brown is rich and cool. Depth effects can be created by darkening the bottom strands or lightening the top strands to create contrast.

Those with a cool, pinkish complexion or even the lucky ones with neutral skin tones will see their face brighten up with this colour. Brunettes can try the trend without colouring their entire hair by adding a gloss in an earthy shade instead of gold, giving the mane a cool, glossy glow.
