Face:
Create a flawless canvas. B.J. Gillian suggests CG Invisible Concealer, a creamy formula, to hide shadows under and around eyes (use a shade as close to your natural skin tone as possible) and CG Smoothers Concealer stick for blemishes and those reddish areas around your nose. Whether you go with a liquid foundation or just use concealer, finish with a dusting of loose powder.
Eyes:
Make your eyes shine with a translucent wash of shimmery colour, says Gillian. He recommends CoverGirl 1-Kit Eye Enhancers in Bedazzled Biscotti or Champagne, applied close to the lash line and blended up and outward to the crease of the eyelid.
Alternatively, use a satin shadow, such as Snow Blossom, rather than a shimmer, and try a sparkling liner, such as CG Smoothers EyeSlicks Gel EyeColour in Shimmering Pebble.
Or to get Molly Sims' classic look (above), begin by lining upper lash line with CG Smoothers Eyeliner in Onyx, then sweep a neutral shadow from lashes to brow.
Whatever your look, finish it off with a coat of your favourite mascara to get sultry, sexy eyelashes.
Cheeks:
Define your cheekbones. Gillian loves Instant Cheekbones Blush, a compact with three coordinated shades from light to dark, because it gives anyone the ability to sculpt cheekbones like a professional makeup artist.
Try Instant Cheekbones in Sophisticated Sable for a warm, golden glow. Use the darkest shade in the hollows under your cheekbones and blend well. Use the medium shade on your cheekbones; blend. Highlight the tops of your cheekbones with a sweep of the lightest colour.
Lips:
Finish the look with berry or red. Gillian balances subtle eyes and cheeks like Molly's with a bold berry colour, such as Outlast All-Day Lipcolour in Berry Pearl or Timeless Ruby. To balance soft, shimmery eye makeup, try Continuous Colour Lipstick in Winterberry Sheer. If you love gloss, try Wetslicks in Firefly, Burgandazzle or Iced Berry.
