Step 1: Part your hair down the middle
With a detangling brush, comb out any knots and tangles and part your hair in the middle of your head, like Meghan Markle does. To achieve a straight part, use the end of a comb or your finger. If you start at the tip of your nose and trace your way up, you will hit the exact middle.

Step 2: Add texture

Step 4: Make it messy
Give the hair at the top of your crown some lift by rubbing a few strands between your thumb and fingers to create some volume. If your hair is the right length, the final touch to achieving Markle's messy bun hairstyle is pulling out a few strands of hair around the face. If the strands are falling straight and flat, twist them around a large-barrel curling iron and hold for only a second or two—don't over-curl!
