"] [/caption] Attention leather addicts (myself included), you can all let out a sigh of relief. One of last seasons biggest trends is sticking around for the long haul. Leather is undoubtedly the look du jour. Last year by seasons end I wound up buying four leather jackets. Yes I know, way too excessive, but I was overwhelmed with a undeniable lust for leather. You know the saying less is more? Well, obviously I don't. Anyways, I can now justify my purchases because leather has now become a wardrobe staple. In my mind, it's just as quintessential as a LBD, blue jeans or a crisp white dress shirt. The runways ran rampant with model wearing a second skin, but not just the classic leather jacket. Designers have begun turning their attention away from just creating outerwear pieces, but now are focusing on exploring other styles, like leather leggings, t-shirts and even underwear. Now I'm not sure if I would recommend getting a pair of leather panties. I'm not sure  it would be very breathable, but if  you're trying to evoke your inner Lady Gaga, then go nuts. The material has also evolved, becoming thinner than ever available in a number of unique finishes as well as some great faux alternatives.
