J.Crew collaborates with illustrator Pierre Le-Tan for capsule collection
By Alexandra Donaldson, Fashion & Beauty Contributor J.Crew is stepping into the art market with a limited edition collection in collaboration with Parisian illustrator Pierre Le-Tan. The exclusive capsule collection is for
Design Miami—a global forum for design that occurs alongside Art Basel fairs in Miami and Switzerland each year. The illustrator, Pierre Le-Tan is an internationally recognized designer with work appearing in Vogue and Tattler. He is also known for his New Yorker magazine covers. His simple style is accented by his signature crosshatched images and an almost cartoon-ish whimsy. For the J.Crew collection, Le-Tan imagined Miami. Pastel backgrounds are accented with sketches of sea creatures, palm trees, flamingos and sunglasses. The collection features the designs on accessories for men and women including scarves, bow ties, umbrellas, makeup bags and socks. Shop the capsule collection for a limited time on
