Editor Tested: Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer
"Your skin looks dry," says my boyfriend while he's helping me zip up a particularly finicky blouse. Not something anyone wants to hear, especially moments before I need to rush out of the house to get to an early morning meeting. He's right, my skin is dry, really dry. It's regularly parched, but when you combine the change in temperature outside and the thermostats being cranked up to turbocharge it makes for the perfect storm of dryness. Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer, $9, shoppersdrugmart.ca.[/caption] What's a girl to do when she has two minutes to quench her thirty skin? Easy, get cozy with Vaseline's Spray & Go. To my surprise I fell in love with this product this summer. I say surprise because the body lotion category rarely gets new innovations, until the launched of these bad boys. Body moisturizer is usually the first step you cut out on a hectic morning, or it's skipped out of sheer laziness. But now there's no excuse. The folks at Vaseline have reimagined moisturizer with this spray-on body lotion that guarantees to shave precious seconds off your morning routine. My secret is to keep it in your shower and apply it directly on to damp skin. This body lotion is like nothing you've ever seen before. Rather than squeezing or pumping it out Spray & Go is equipped with a continuous spray nozzle. The nozzle is functional at every angle, even upside down—meaning you can coat all the hard-to-reach areas — back included. The lightweight formula soaks into skin in a matter of seconds. Which means you don't have to account for "soak in" downtime, you can put on your skinny jeans or LBD on as soon as you're finished applying. If you have really dry skin (like me) you might want to use it in the morning and upgrade to a thicker body moisturizer before you hit the hay.
