DIY spa treatment: Navel orange foot scrub
In the dark of winter, it's easy to feel gloomy. If you're looking for a pick-me-up, studies show that smelling an orange will help brighten your mood. That's one of the reasons that
Stillwater Spa Toronto has partnered with Sunkist to create a series of aromatic recipes for at-home (and in-spa) use. We love this Navel Orange Foot Scrub. Try it before an at-home pedicure, or any time your tootsies are feeling a little rough and dry.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup of raw sugar
2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed Sunkist Navel orange juice
2 drops of essential orange oil
Sliced Sunkist Navel oranges
Orange-scented lotion
Directions:
1. In a bowl, mix orange juice and sugar. The mixture should feel similar to a paste.
2. Soak feet for 10 minutes in very warm water. Use a pedicure basin, large bowl or your bathtub. Add orange slices and essential orange oil to the water.
3. After soaking, rub the scrub all over your feet. Use a foot file as well, if you have one.
4. Rinse off the mixture under warm water and apply a heavy lotion to moisturize.
A series of citrus-inspired spa treatments (including a manicure, pedicure, massage and body scrub) will be available at the Stillwater Spa Toronto from January 20 to February 28, 2015. Read more: Drop 5 years in 5 minutes The sweetest beauty treat
