5 stylish ways to cheer on Team Canada
It always surprises me how much I love the Olympics
—I'm not a very athletic person. But I can't resist the enthusiasm that comes with having our entire country standing behind one team. And of course part of the fun of cheering on
Team Canada, is buying the clothes to do so. Yes, I look for any opportunity to shop. So here are 5 stylish ways to support our team.
1. The HBC Collection Team Canada looked amazing at the Opening Ceremony in their
HBC duffle coats! I love the toggle buttons on the jackets. The great thing about these jackets is they are neutral enough that you can still wear them after the games without looking silly. I also really love the
henley from the Olympic collection, it's the perfect shirt for a chilly winter walk.
2. Charm bracelet What girl doesn't adore a charm bracelet and this
Thomas Sabo Olympic bracelet is so pretty. Like the HBC coat, the bracelet is pretty neutral with its skating and maple leaf charms, so you can get away with wearing it after the Closing Ceremony. Plus, this charm bracelet would look great as a part of an arm party!
3. Make your own jersey This
jersey is such a fun way to personalize your Olympic gear. Instead of putting Canada across the back you can put your own last name or your favourite Olympian's name. I'm in love with
John Tavares, so I will proudly wear his name on my back.
4. An adorable onesie It's never too early to introduce your baby to the Olympics and they can show their Team Canada pride in this cute onesie from
Joe Fresh. I can't resist a baby with a beaver on their shirt! Plus the onesie comes with a moose dressed as a mountie! Cuteness overload.
5. Olympic-inspired nail art You don't have to buy Olympic gear, you can make your own with some
Team Canada nail art. It's really easy to do
nail art, you just need a steady hand and some inspiration. And if you really want to show your Team Canada pride, you will have the nail art in addition to the duffle coat, which is over the DIY jersey, which is accessorized with the bracelet, which you're wearing while holding your baby in their 100% Canuck onesie.
How are you showing your support for Team Canada?
