For most, the Christmas season is the most wonderful time of year. For me, not so much. I am a self-professed Grinch, so the holiday itself doesn't excite me. Rather, it's the shopping opportunities that give me butterflies. To specify, it's not the act of shopping for gifts for others—I'm a Grinch, remember—but rather for myself. My name is Julia and I'm a sparkle and embellishment addict and this is the most magical time of year to indulge. Good news for glitter aficionados: From mid November to January, stores are jampacked with over-the-top statement pieces, from
