3 ways to shop for your child's school supplies stress-free
Back-to-school can be a nerve-wracking time for parents, with the race for bargains occupying most of their thoughts.
Let's face it, the mental burden of getting back to school is pretty heavy! Fortunately, it's possible to find all the school supplies on that infamous list in one place.
No matter how many children you have, the challenge remains the same: finding the right products at the right price. And above all, products your child will love!
Here are a few tips to help you check all the boxes on your back-to-school must-have list:
1. SORT OUT THE PREVIOUS YEAR'S ARTICLES
That's right! Taking inventory of materials that can be reused can save a lot of money: scissors, rulers, pencil sharpeners, cases, binders, dividers, duet tangs, headphones, school bags and lunch boxes.
In the same vein, when it comes to binders and dividers it is best to opt for a plasticized option. That way, year after year, all it takes is a wipe and a little soap to give it a shine and a new look for the new year and the new materials!
Finally, for large families: don't hesitate to pass materials from one child to another, and get your hands on bargains by buying larger quantities (lined sheets, felt-tip pens, etc.). It'll save you money!
2. GET AHEAD OF THE GAME
By planning ahead, it's possible to get your hands on low-priced school supplies, since prices are greatly reduced after the back-to-school period.
It's a good idea to think about building a home inventory, with school supplies needed every year: lead pencils, erasers, lined sheets, squared sheets, ink pencils, crayons and so on.
3. LOOK FOR DISCOUNTS
With back-to-school season already in full swing, it's possible to find some pretty interesting discounts. You just have to know where to look!
