Travel Talk: 5 reasons to visit Nova Scotia this fall!

Win a Fodor's Guidebook to Nova Scotia & Atlantic Canada! Travelling is rewarding. Travelling to über popular destinations in the thick tourism season is not. That's why we luck out in Canada with so many vacation spots which have all-season appeal. Take Nova Scotia for example. I've visited Peggy's Cove in early spring and eaten my fill of fresh scallops (at pocket-friendly prices) in Digby in June. I've even wandered along the shore of Lawrencetown Beach on Boxing Day. Of course, Nova Scotia is a great place to visit during summer, but the province has special appeal after Labour Day, as well. There's an excellent mix of activities in the fall months throughout Nova Scotia. Here are five fall festivals to tickle your fancy. And if you can share a reason why Canadian Living readers should visit your area of Canada during the fall months, just post below and you could win a 300-plus page Fodor's Guide to Nova Scotia & Atlantic Canada.
