Travel Gem: Whistler Blackcomb Video Shoot!
My weekly pick of travel gems We've all attempted selfies (with varying degrees of success and/or embarrassment) while out on the slopes, or ziplining, or riding a rambunctious horse. You want that holiday memento, in a photograph or short video clip, but they're high on the cringe factor when you look at them later. Good news if you're a skier heading to Whistler Blackcomb. You can now star in
your own professionally-produced ski video at Whistler Blackcomb.
Here's what you get for $450: 1.5 hours on the mountain with a professional videographer who will edit, write captions, and even add music. For an extra $99, they'll even send along an action photographer. You can include up to four people in a shoot.
Here's what you go home with: one master DVD, approximately 10 to 15 minutes in length, capturing your holiday memory. Here's a sample of the still photo taken by Emily Serrell, of

And here's a sample of their typical ski video: [HTML1] Do you think it's worth it?
