This neighbourhood street party wouldn't be complete without the larger than life street painting of the Canadian Flag on Canada Day. It's become a tradition! Canada's birthday is spent enjoying some good ole' Canadian BBQ, listening to some great Canadian tunes, a couple of games of parents vs kids street hockey and WATER BALLOON FIGHTS! Once the sun has gone down and the anticipation of the fireworks grows near, fellow neighbours, family and friends gather around and express their great Canadian pride as our very powerful and patriotic Canadian anthem is sung loud and proud prior to the lighting of the skies with the grand finale...the much anticipated fireworks display.
