4200 people participated in the 3rd annual Canadian Living Sex Survey, which ran throughout January on our site. We encouraged Canadians across the nation to share their sexual habits, highlighting everything from what turns them on to how often they sext. And we learned some interesting facts. Here are our favourites: . Sexting is on the rise -- and fast! In 2011, 30 per cent of Canadians admitted to sexting. In 2012, 36 per cent did. This year, we had 52 per cent of Canadians admit to sending a naughty photo/text to someone. The heat is certainly on in Canada, and the temperature is rising! And an added fun fact? More women (52 per cent) sext than men (48 per cent). . Cheating numbers have dropped. In our 2012 survey, 62 per cent admitted to staying faithful to the one they were with. This year, however, we've seen a rise in commitment, with 73 per cent admitting to not straying. . If we were to turn down sex, it would be for one of two main reasons: Feeling under the weather and bad hygiene. . We're sexy and we know it! Men say they feel sexiest when their partner initiates sex. Women say they feel sexiest when their partner compliments them. . Canadians: Not as mild-mannered as you might think... 61 per cent of Canadians surveyed say that dirty talk is a turn on, while only 12 per cent say that it's embarrassing.
