This has got to be one of the loveliest speeches I have ever heard. After his team was defeated at the Little League World Series, Rhode Island coach, David Belisle delivered an eloquently moving speech to his young players. The raw emotional beauty of what kids and sports should be about is all wrapped into this little video. There is so much love and respect for his team, you can't help but to become emotionally invested in each and every one of his heartfelt words. "Heads up high. Heads up high. I've got to see your eyes, guys. There's no disappointment in your effort - in the whole tournament, the whole season. It's been an incredible journey." "It's Ok to cry, because we're not going to play baseball together any more. But we're going to be friends forever. Our little league careers have ended on the most positive note that could ever be. We need coaches like this. You're our coach. You're the coach of the century. This quote comes to mind "Not every successful man is a great father, but every great father is a successful man." And you, David Belisle, are a very successful man.
