An astronaut's guide to the Island of Ireland Where do you travel after five-month visit to outer space? That's easy: Ireland. Our favourite Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield is featured in a new series of short travel videos covering the astronaut's recent trip through Ireland. The videos include  cute footage of Chris learning Gaelic from local schoolchildren, then there's the requisite night out enjoying traditional Irish music in a local watering hole, plus a couple videos highlighting popular attractions of the Titanic-related sites in Belfast and Dublin’s Guinness Storehouse. Then viewers get to watch the astronaut try his hand at hurling (relax, it's an outdoor field game, not a post-pub-crawl tummy condition).     Says Leo Varadkar, Ireland's Minister for Transport, Tourism & Sport:

“ Chris Hadfield is one of the few people on earth who has seen Ireland from space, and on the ground. These are four great films which I’m certain will persuade people from around the world to pay their own visit to Ireland. We’re delighted that Chris had such a good time during his stay and hopefully he’ll be back for another visit in the near future.”
