4 things to eat after Christmas
Yay! It's Boxing Day, and you survived Christmas! Your house is strewn with new toys and all kinds of extra crap right now, and you probably stuffed yourself into oblivion yesterday, but guess what--you still need to figure out what to make for dinner! Here are some ideas: 1.
Turkey pot pie! Or another of these
5 kid-friendly turkey leftover recipes. Yum! 2. Something in the
slow cooker, like one of these
8 slow cooker recipes for kids. Then you can hit those Boxing Day sales and come home to a hot dinner instead of fighting it out at the food court. 3.
Lentils. Take a break from the meat and have a lighter dinner or lunch. We love these
kid-friendly lentil recipes. You will too! Lentils also bring luck for the new year, in Italy. 4. A delicious
sandwich. Because you cooked and cooked and you're tired of cooking, but you don't want to eat out. Behold the humble sandwich:
