A handful of discounted Cancun travel deals have landed in my inbox in the last few days, from such tour operators as Expedia.ca and Air Transat. Bargain travel alerts aren't uncommon, but I was a little surprised that they're happening this late in December.

I've noticed two shopping trends this season. 1. The in-store Boxing Day bargains have started a lot earlier. 2. The traditional ' late November-early December travel deals' are running later than usual. If you're still in shopping mode, both of these trends will work in your favour. Happy shopping!
