DIY & Crafts
Stamped tea towel
You will need:
- Plain tea towel
- Rolling pin
- Adhesive-backed foam sheet
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Scrap paper
- Fabric paint
- Newspaper
To make:
1. Draw and cut a paper template for your scallop. Trace onto the foam and cut out several pieces.
2. Adhere the foam scallops onto one end of your rolling pin.
3. Working over newspaper, apply fabric paint onto the stamp and roll along the edge of the tea towel to stamp. You may have to stop halfway and reapply paint onto the stamp – just continue from where you left off. Let dry completely and then use to wrap baked goods.
