Rheanna's Fabulous Baby Blocks
Hi friends, I've got something special to share with you today.
Rheanna Kish is a food specialist with the
Canadian Living Test Kitchen who's currently on maternity leave, and she emailed me last week with photos of a great knitting project she'd put together for her son, Taj. Look: knitted baby blocks!
She writes, "I got the idea for the knitting project from a book someone gave me before I left work called '
Knitting for Baby'. They had a few guidelines for patterns to use for each square and then I made up a bunch too. It's a good little book, written by
Melanie Falick and Kristin Nicholas. I promised myself to be done these blocks by the time my little Taj turned 6 months...and I did! Yippee! "
(Don't the blocks look great – and isn't that a handsome baby? Oh my, those eyes!) Thanks for sharing, Rheanna. I hope you and Taj have lots of fun playing with the blocks!
