No-sew Canada Day napkins
A plain paper lantern gets a pretty update with this simple DIY.
For a larger image of the napkin, click here.
1 yard of linen makes 4 generously sized napkins each stamped with a single maple leaf for a subtle nod to the True White North.
You will need:
- 1 yard white linen
- Red dye ink pad
- Maple leaf stamp
- Scissors
Here's how:
Step 1: Cut your linen into 4 equal rectangles.
Step 2: Fray the edges as desired by pulling the threads along the raw seams.
Step 3: Stamp the corner of each linen napkin or use a permanent marker to decorate at will.
*Alternatively, cut your linen down the center to create two long strips. Fray edges and stamp as desired to create two custom table runners.
