Fabric Stash Wishlist - Part 6
Hi. Welcome back to my list of
top Canadian online fabric sources. Let's go fabric shopping!
PART 6: Fabric Spark
Daryl of
Fabric Spark says she learned to sew 'under the menacing eyes of her junior high sewing teacher' and despite these inauspicious beginnings, her love of fabric and beautiful design continued and grew into the delightful online fabric store she curates today with the help and inspiration of her equally creative sisters. She calls fabric her 'creative spark' and certainly, her store will serve to inspire you (and the sewer in your life) with its range of beautiful textiles, sewing patterns for adults, kids and the home, and ready-to-sew kits. Daryl's favourite fabrics include the following: 1.
Echino Helicopter - This cotton linen blend would look fabulous as a hip cross body messenger bag or a throw pillow trimmed in leather. [caption id="attachment_12503" align="aligncenter" width="466"]

As for me, I'm an absolute sucker for glitter in any form I can get it, so when Cotton + Steel came out with their last release of fresh, modern designs, I was thrilled to catch the glimmer of metallics sprinkled throughout the collection! I was even happier to find these in the Fabric Spark inventory: [caption id="attachment_12495" align="aligncenter" width="478"] Cotton + Steel Basics - XOXO in Toy Boat Gold[/caption] [caption id="attachment_12494" align="aligncenter" width="484"] Cotton + Steel Arrows in Coral Metallic[/caption]
