DIY leather wrap bracelet
If accessories make the outfit, then you'll definitely want to make these super-easy stackable bracelets. A scrap of leather and a few tools are all you need to make this must-have accessory.
Here’s what you’ll need:
Scissors
Scrap leather
Cutting mat
Ruler
Pen
Masking tape
Utility knife
Eyelet pliers
Pearl snaps
Step 1: Use scissors to cut your leather into a piece measuring 16-inches long by 1.25-inches wide.
Step 2: Tape your leather piece front side down onto a cutting mat or other cutting surface. Use a ruler and pen to mark out 1/12-inch cut lines on the reverse side. Tip: place your masking tape to mark 1.5 inches from the top and bottom of the leather.
Step 3. Starting 1.5 inches from the top and stopping 1.5 inches from the bottom, carefully use your utility knife and ruler to create slices along each cut line from top to bottom. You should end up with 9 strands of leather.
Step 4. Following the manufacturer’s directions, use eyelet pliers to insert pearl snaps onto the ends of your bracelet. Trim bracelet ends to produce a rounded curve.
