Using strong images for your theme
Your school is putting on a fun fair and you want to be clever about using your time to make great props. (Or your church is having a bazaar or you are putting on a garage sale -- these techniques can be transferred to any number of projects.) Your computer, scanner, and printer can save time, do most everything and you'll have lots of fun doing it. We'll use the theme of the CIRCUS and go for it!

With your scanner, you can scan in all kinds of images to make logos and tickets (below).

A scanner is extremely useful for using existing images for your projects. Click on the illustrated steps panel to see how we:

1. Scanned a painting and made it into different denominations of tickets for the fun fair.

2. Scanned an illustration from an old book, cropped a small bit of it and make it into what we wanted.
