Under $100: Best home buys for September
Our summer buys were good to us, but this month we're embracing what the cooler months have to offer with must-haves for fall entertaining, stylish seating and a lesson on French girl style. And as always, all these great buys are under $100.
Pillow Talk

One of the easiest ways to change up a home’s look, especially moving into a new season, is with throw pillows. I especially love this dark cover that seems moody and dramatic, without being too morose. Not your vibe but like the pattern? Lighten up with one of the other colour options. —Alexandra Donaldson, fashion & beauty editor
Hanging Out

I’m not sure if it’s because we’re in the last days of summer, but lately I’ve been drawn to decor items with natural elements. I particular can’t take my eyes off of this minimal macrame plant hanger from Indie Boho studio on Etsy. The simple design allows me to show off my planter and the “Gen Z Yellow” tassels and beads speak to my love of bright, cheery colours. —Murissa Barrington, digital assistant

For the Love of French Girls

The French (and original) version of the book came out months ago, and I ordered it straight away. But, since my French lessons aren’t going quite as well as I was hoping, I haven’t been able to read it (or fully understand it)—until now. The English version (out September 2018) comes in a very millennial pink, making it not only a must-read book for those who love French girl style, but also a pretty home accent. —Renée Reardin, senior digital editor
In Paris: 20 Women on Life in the City of Light by Jeanne Damas and Lauren Bastide, $35, amazon.ca.
