Wall decals are a great way to add an extra touch of whimsy without causing damage to your walls, especially if you live in a rental like I do. This palm branch decal from Urban Walls caught my eye this month and I can’t wait to spruce up my bedroom with a little bit of pretty greenery. —Linda Cotrina, web producer
Palm Branches Wall Decal, $82, chapters.indigo.ca.
Woven baskets are a great fix for storing all those odds and ends that get in the way of your beautiful decor. I’ll be adding this one to my bedroom to store throws, and extra pillows instead of having them pile up in a corner or crowd the hooks on the wall. —Alexandra Donaldson, fashion and beauty editor
Braided Seagrass Basket, $30, hm.com.
Spring is one of my favourite times because all the trees are in bloom. I love this cherry blossom tablecloth because it will remind me of the snow-white and pink blossoms long after the petals have fallen. —Mary Delong, digital intern
Cherry blossoms tablecloth, from $30, simons.ca.
I’m looking to get a bit more organized, and this month, I’m starting with my sun hats. These super cute monogram wall hooks are a great solution for getting my hats up off my closet floor and onto the wall. —LC

Like many people this time of year, I’m thinking about how to spruce up my back patio. For me, that means storage space and seating space—and it’s best if you can combine the two. Enter this storage bench which can store all of your small-garden tools and also offers up seating for two when we decide to host a BBQ. —AD
Storage bench, $99, ikea.com.
I don’t really do shots anymore, but these cute-as-a-button tea cups make me kind of wish I did. In either case, these cuties will look great next to my collection of wine and spirits. —AD
Tea Time Shot Glass, $18, urbanoutfitters.com.
As mentioned before, getting myself organized is my goal for this month, and that includes decluttering my jewellery box and getting those earrings and necklaces hanging on this stunning moon phase wall-mounted holder. —LC

It isn’t too early for patio season, and this padded lounger is cozy enough for chilly May evenings. I love the bright blue, green, and red colours—and that it’s easily foldable for storage! —MD
Distinctly Home Marche Padded Folding Chair, $59.95, thebay.com.
It’s almost time to hit the beach, which means picking up a new beach towel is a must. My suggestion? Pick something colourful and fun—something you’d never pick for your bathroom decor, but something that screams summer. For me, it’s this green and yellow pineapple print. —AD
Pineapple beach towel, $20, simons.ca.
This gorgeous hand-painted pitcher is a lovely conversation piece. I would love to have it for indoor or outdoor entertaining in the coming months. Sangria, lemonade, and water would be my beverages of choice, in that order. —MD
Gardenshire Pitcher, $58 USD, anthropologie.com.
I recently purchased some new pillows for my bed, but they haven't been cutting it for me. This month, I'm looking to get something that's a bit softer, but supportive at the same time. Casper's pillow-in-pillow design is built to satisfy all sleepers, and with their first Canadian retail store now open at Toronto’s CF Sherway Gardens, I'll be able to fully test out this pillow and all other products at The Casper Sleep Shop.
The Pillow-Standard, $85, casper.com.
