I like to know how my week is going to look in terms of my workload by writing it out in a weekly desk pad. It helps me prioritize what I need to do on a daily basis and boy, does it feel good to see when I’ve crossed something off the list when it seems never-ending. -Linda Cotrina, web producer
Everyday weekly desk pad, $12, riflepaperco.com.
While the holiday season may be over, the season of staying in and curling up on your couch isn't. Which is why I'm on the hunt for a good robe to wear around the house. While I know some people opt for plush and cozy options, I love this linen version. The light and airy fabric means that it will suit me all year long, with cashmere tights in the winter and jersey shorts in the summer. - Alexandra Donaldson, fashion and beauty editor
Washed linen robe, $60, hm.com.

You can never have too many baskets. At least that’s what I think, which is why I’m hoping to add this sweater knit one to my collection. It’s perfect for storing towels or using as a vessel for houseplants. -LC
Sweater Knit Basket in Horseradish, $39 US, westelm.com.
In keeping with my desire to really enjoy what winter has to offer (a lot of it has to do with relaxing in my home), I'm attempting to make my bath experience just a bit more exciting. This bath caddy will hold a drink (ahem, wine) a book (for whatever I'm reading) and a candle (to set the mood). Sounds like the perfect way to practice a bit of self-care, no? - AD
Umbra bath caddy, $50, chapters.indigo.ca.

New year, new planner. If there’s anything I look forward to the most about the New Year, it’s getting to buy another cute planner to jot down important appointments, special occasions and when the final season of Game of Thrones will premiere. -LC
2019 bouquet 17-month planner, $34, riflepaperco.com.
Every year I like to switch up my bathroom linens and give the space a bit of a fresher look and 2019 is no different. My pick for this year is this simple but very pretty dotted shower curtain. The colour is feminine and energizing and also sort of reminds me of Pantone's Colour of the Year, 'Living Coral,' giving it some trend points as well. - MB
Tufted dot shower curtain, $59, urbanoutfitters.com.

I started off the New Year decluttering the surface of my at-home workspace by filling the drawers of this IKEA cabinet with notebooks, pens and other trinkets. And assembly was super easy because I didn't have to do it myself thanks to TaskRabbit. It's an on-demand network that conveniently connects people who need a little help with household to-do's—like me—with "Taskers" who handle everyday home improvement tasks. Winner? I think so. -LC
