These festive treatments ensure your fireplace will be a holiday hit all season long.
ROSY GLOW
A dramatic, modern wreath is the sculptural showstopper in this feminine scene that’s united by its tight palette of pale pink, light grey and white. Feathery pampas grass in tones of pink softens the graphic wreath shape and is so visually strong that a more subtle approach can be taken at the mantel. Highly textural elements, including sheepskin, fragrant eucalyptus and a weathered concrete garden sculpture (crowned with more pampas grass), are offset by the shiny sheen of blown-glass ornaments. A blue vase provides height to balance the statue, and gives a colour pop. The sweet tabletop tree is aglow with twinkle lights and more soft pink, grey and silver ornaments to tie it to the mantel.

Vibrant blue is paired with trusted holiday red in this fun tradition-with-a-twist mantel. The striking Queen print presides over an appropriately orderly treatment of nutcracker guards (snazzily dressed in blue and red to strengthen the palette), golden crown stocking holders and urns filled with lush royal red amaryllis. All the elements nestle cozily among garlands of faux cranberry and fresh pine. A more-is-more tree is loaded with ornaments that echo the colour scheme and provide a nostalgic air, because Christmas is for kids of all ages.

A striking work of art inspired this magical woodland mantel with its palette of green, burnished gold and brown. An everlasting garland of faux greenery, white berries and pine cones feels woodsy, and is a great choice when decking the halls early in the season. Gingerbread house facades—each more than 30 centimetres tall—anchor the scene. Green bottlebrush trees with a snow-dusted finish fill in the forest, while a tall falcon garden ornament that works with the palette looks on. A small candlestick lamp balances the display at the other end of the mantel. Twinkle lights are all the faux tree needs, while the reindeer tidily ties coordinates with the theme.
