Cranberry Candies Are Our New Favourite Christmas Sweet—Here's How To Make Them

These sugared cranberries are all over social media!

We love a cranberry-based dessert, and there's a viral recipe that's taking over this holiday. All you need is three ingredients and a love for all things sweet and tart.

How to make cranberry candies

You'll need:

  • 2 cups water, fruit juice or alcohol
  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup icing sugar

In a large bowl, soak your cranberries in your chosen liquid for serval hours—they'll start to take on the flavour. We love:

  • lemon juice
  • pineapple juice
  • Sprite and Grenadine syrup (Shirley Temple!)
  • Prosecco and Aperol (Aperol Spritz)
  • White wine
