While it isn’t really new to the market, the Orabrush Tongue Cleaner is the best tongue cleaner I’ve ever used. Tiny little bristles and a built-in scraper help to gently sweep out bacteria and leaves your mouth feeling cleaner than ever. - Murissa Barrington
Orabrush Tongue Cleaner, $5, walmart.ca.
Carrying a water bottle everywhere you go in the summer is a must, not only to hopefully cut down on the purchase of plastic bottles, but also because keeping hydrated is key when the weather gets warm. I’ll be picking up this eco-friendly alkaline water bottle from DYLN. Though it’s not cheap, it is pretty impressive. It includes a diffuser in it that creates alkaline antioxidant water when you fill it from the tap. Alkaline water contains minerals and is less acidic than tap water. Some studies even say that it can improve energy and metabolism. Either way, you’ll get delicious water wherever you are. - AD

Enjoying a bath is great year-round, though in the summer my focus is more on easing aching muscles and aromatherapy. This wild ginger and sweet orange bath soap from Canadian brand Barefoot Venus has colloidal oatmeal and epsom salts—and of course that great scent from sweet orange and ginger—so it ticks off all my summer bath boxes. - AD
Wild Ginger & Sw2eet Orange Oat Therapy Bath, $21.50, barefootvenus.com.

In a bid to get healthy and drink more water (A lot more!), I picked up this oversized bottle from The Hydr8 Company. It holds all the water I need to drink in a day, eliminating the need to constantly refill a small bottle. It also encourages me to drink more while I’m at work so I don’t have to lug a full bottle on the commute back home. The cute attention-grabbing colour doesn’t hurt either. - MB
The Hydr8 Company fuchsia water bottle, $18, well.ca.
If you’re like me and you want to get more protein in your diet but you hate the flavour of protein shakes, this just might be for you. The Garden of Life Raw Organic Plant Protein comes in an unflavoured variety that contains no strange flavours or ingredients including my personally disliked Stevia. I also love that this plain protein powder can seamlessly blend into any kind of smoothie I decide to make without compromising taste. - MB
Garden of Life Raw Organic Plant Protein Unflavoured, $60, well.ca.
