How to strengthen and tone your core
1. HIGH PLANK WITH REACH
Eight to 12 reps on each size x three sets

Start hereBegin in a high plank position with hands shoulder-width apart.
1. Step your toes back, wider than hip-width, keeping your legs straight and active.
2. Brace your core.
3. without shoulder or hip rotation, raise your left arm level with your ear and hold.
4. Bring your left arm back to starting position and repeat with your right arm.
2. LATERAL PLANK WALL
Eight to 12 reps on each side x three sets

Start here
Being in the high plank position (as above).
1. Bring your feet together, keeping your arms extended and directly under your shoulders.
2. Walk your left leg out as you bring your right hand in to meet your left.
3. Separate your hands as you step your feet back together. Repeat>with your right leg and left hand, alternating each time.
3. SIDE PLANK WITH KNEE DRIVE
Eight to 12 reps on each side x three sets

Start here
Lie on your left side with legs extended and feet stacked.
1. Place your left forearm on the floor with your elbow in line with your shoulder. lift your hips off the floor.
2. Lift your right leg and extend your right arm by your ear.
3. Bend your right knee and elbow, pulling them in to touch.
4. Straighten your leg and arm. repeat on the opposite side, alternating each time.
