Under $100: Best health and wellness buys for October
Our wellness routines are geared up and ready for the fall. Here's what we're itching to buy this month all in the name of health and wellness. And as always, all these great buys are under $100.
Rise and Shine

If you’re anything like me, you probably find it really difficult to wake up when it’s still dark outside and now that fall is in full swing, the days are getting shorter and darker. Much darker. That’s where the Philips wake-up light comes in. It’s an alarm clock with an adjustable yellow light that wakes you up gradually similar to that of a real sunrise. Every night I just set my alarm and my desired brightness and in the morning I wake up to the gradual increase of light along with gentle beeping sounds to wake me without jolting me out of bed like traditional alarms. If that weren’t enough, the warm is light is said to be good for those of us who deal with S.A.D. (Seasonal Affective Disorder) around this time of year and it also doubles as a solid lamp for late night reading. —Murissa Barrington, digital assistant

Get Your Vitamins

I am admittedly very behind when it comes to vitamins and supplements seeing as how I currently don’t take any. This is partially because I try to get all my nutrients from good-for-me food, but I think it’s time that I start considering ways to add an additional vitamin boost to my life. I picked up these super algae capsules as a way to make sure I’m getting plenty of protein and iron (from spiralling) and B12 and essential amino acids (from chlorella). —Alexandra Donaldson, fashion & beauty editor
