Method
In large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add pear slices; cook until lightly browned, about 2 minutes each side. Drizzle with maple syrup and toss gently to coat. Continue cooking until tender and caramelized, 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat; set aside.
In large bowl, combine endives and lettuce. Top with reserved pear slices and drizzle with half of the Hazelnut Butter & Balsamic Vinaigrette. Sprinkle with cheese and hazelnuts, and salt flakes, if using. Serve with remaining vinaigrette.
