In saucepan, combine tomato, pear, chili pepper, garlic, raisins, vinegar, brown sugar, tomato paste, cinnamon, salt, pepper and 1/3 cup (75 mL) water; bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 45 minutes.Discard cinnamon stick and chili pepper; simmer, uncovered, until thickened, about 20 minutes. (Make-ahead: Let cool. Refrigerate in airtight container for up to 5 days.)
