Method
In skillet, toast almonds over medium-high heat just until golden, about 4 minutes. Remove and set aside.Add 3/4 cup (175 mL) water, butter and salt to skillet; bring to boil. Add beans; reduce heat, cover and simmer until bright green, about 3 minutes.
Uncover and simmer, turning beans often, until tender and no liquid remains, about 8 minutes. Toss with almonds.
