Method
In large bowl, stir flour with cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and baking soda until combined.
Stir in buttermilk and eggs (do not overmix). Fold in butter, Cheddar and corn. Let dough rest for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat waffle maker to medium-high heat.
Pour batter into waffle maker according to its capacity; repeat with remaining batter. Sprinkle waffles with chives and serve with sour cream.
