Fit piping bag with large plain tip. Dip blunt end of wooden skewer into food colouring. Use skewer to paint 2 vertical lines of food colouring opposite each other on inside of piping bag.Fill bag with icing. Pipe onto tops of cupcakes. Top each with gumdrop.
