Method
Garam Masala Spice Blend In bowl, whisk together all ingredients.
Chicken Tikka Masala Place chicken in large bowl. Add Garam Masala Spice Blend and toss to coat chicken well.
In large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. In two batches, add chicken and sear, turning halfway through cooking time, 4 to 6 minutes. Transfer chicken to slow cooker.
In same skillet, add onion; cook, stirring often, for 2 to 3 minutes. Add garlic; cook, stirring often, for 1 minute. Pour in wine, scraping up browned bits from bottom of skillet with wooden spoon; cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
Transfer onion mixture to slow cooker. Stir in ginger and tomato sauce; season with salt and pepper. Cover and cook on Low for 7 hours.
Stir in cream; cover and cook for 20 minutes. Shred chicken with fork, if desired; mix well in sauce. Serve with naan, yogurt and lime, if using.
