Method
In large skillet with lid, heat oil over high heat. Add pork; cook, breaking up meat with wooden spoon, until lightly browned, 3 to 4 minutes. Add onion, garlic and bay leaves; season with salt and pepper and cook, stirring often, for 2 minutes. Stir in rice; cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Stir in broth and tomato sauce. Arrange cabbage slices on top of mixture. Bring mixture to boil; cover and reduce heat to medium. Simmer for 12 to 13 minutes. Remove lid and continue cooking for 2 to 3 minutes. Divide among bowls and sprinkle with chopped flat-leaf parsley, if using.
